sweet and spicy grilled pork belly (lil_yahoo)

INGREDIENTS

1 1/4 cups ketchup (I normally use Del Monte Ketchup or the Tomato Sauce)

1 cup dark brown sugar

1/4 cup pineapple juice

1/4 cup water

1 tablespoon Oyster sauce

1 tablespoon Worchestire sauce (I still can't pronounce this)

2 teaspoons Spanish Paprika

1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

1/4-1/2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mixture/Marinade

Combine all the ingredients except the water and corn starch mixture in a medium size sauce pot. Bring to a boil and reduce and simmer for five minutes or until all the sugar has dissolved. If you like a thicker BBQ Sauce add the water and corn starch mixture. Simmer until desired thickness is reached, but watch closely. It thickens really fast! Serve immediately or cover and store in fridge.

Combine all ingredients in a small-medium sized sauce pot. Bring it to a boil, reduce and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sugar has fully dissolved. If you're the type who prefers a thicker sauce, you can add more water and corn starch in the mixture. You can then serve it right away or covered and then stored in the the fridge.

You can use the same mixture to marinade the meat. For best tasting meat, you can leave the marinade on overnight.

2. Meat

Once you've soaked the meat in the mixture to your preferred time, you can grill it until meat has been thoroughly cooked.

3. Cute the meat into pieces or strips.

4. Serve and Enjoy.
